It’s one of the biggest grilling weekends of the year here in the good ‘ole US of A, so why not buck the BBQ Chicken/Burgers/Hot Dog trend and give one of these grillable beauties a try instead? HAPPY MEMORIAL WEEKEND!

VEAL SAUSAGES WITH HERBED POLENTA AND ROASTED BEETS
I’m salivating. I really try to stay away from a lot of BBQ invites because they serve boring unoriginal food. The worst being those prefrozen hamburger patties on the grill. Give a a BBQ with this type of food and I’m there!
We’re doing burgers tomorrow because that was the request… sigh… today, though, we’re off for more exciting fare at a friend’s house. These recipes look wonderful, though, and we grill often, so I’m sure I’ll be back – especially for that salmon!
Jonny & Amy, I say YES to all the suggestions and yes, I will be grilling later today. Enjoy the rest of the Memorial Weekend.
These all look so good. I wish I could have a BBQ. I’ve been tempted to hang a BBQ out of my 7th floor window, but somehow I think that would be frowned upon.
I’m going to let someone else do the grilling today, since I need a day off. It’s good to be a guest sometimes.
Excellent timely post! Thanks for the recipes!
You had me at Carne Asada.
You had me at spatchcock.
And it’s too rainy for BBQ today (sadface), so I’ll hafta use the grill pan instead.
Hey, that salmon is with udon! Mmm…udon…
That’s a great collection of grill candidates. I’m not sure which I’d go for first–they all look delicious
Great collection to choose from! Sadly, we are not grilling today:( We have other things to catch up on so grilling is postponed until later:)
Hi Amy!
They all look so beautiful! I think I’m going to have to try those grilled veal sausages and beets on the polenta though..yumm!
Ciao and “Happy Memorial Day!”
That was so smart of you! Wonderful spread 😀
Everyone of these are a winner! Your photos are all so enticing!!
