You haven't had the baby yet? I came all the way over here (uphill both ways) and all I get is leftover cheese tarts. You should make a t-shirt that says that.

Mmmmmmm... cheese tarts.

hmm... I always have some chees leftovers. And so had to try your cheesetart. It was delightful. Even with the cheap cheese I used. Will definetly do this again. Thanks for the Idea...

Free cheese? How come I'm never offered freebies like that? ;) We have the same problem with over-stocking our fridge with cheese, so I know what you mean about saying a little prayer and tossing a bit into the trash! Is the last picture of mini tarts? What kind of pan did you use for them? Muffin pan?

I've just discovered your blog and I love it! This recipe looks delicous and it's a very good idea! I like the tomatoe slices but because I have a sweet tooth I would use strawberry jam or quince pastry (it's like a marmelade of quince very typical of the Spanish cuisine. Quince pasty is usually eaten with Manchego and Idiazabal cheese)

I can almost imagine the sharp taste and light texture of the cheese just from looking at that tart. Nice job and spectacular photo!
